The European External Action Service – a tool for global affirmation of the European Union. The relevance of Association Agreements with third parties within the EU's Eastern Neighborhood
On the 28 October 2011, the Department of International Relations and European Integration, the Romanian Association for International Relations and European Integration and the Academic Club of European Studies is organizing the conference „The European External Action Service – a tool for global affirmation of the European Union. The relevance of Association Agreements with third parties within the EU's Eastern Neighborhood”, held by H.E. Mr. Traian Hristea. Former Ambassador of Romania in Kiev, H.E. Mr. Traian Hristea has been recently appointed by the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in the position of Head of EU Delegation in Armenia. Before leaving for Yerevan, H.E. will meet with representatives of academia in Bucharest to discuss the European External Action Service's contribution to strengthening the position of the European Union as a major player on the international scene. The conference will take place at the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration – Povernei Street, no. 6, room 12, on 28 October 2011, starting at 17:00.
