Rights and Identities beyond the State: Managing Diversity in the European Union

The project "Rights and Identities beyond the State: Managing Diversity in the European Union" is a Jean Monnet Module implemented by the Department of International Relations and European Integration within the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (NSPSPA) in Bucharest.

The project benefits from the financial support of the European Commission`s Lifelong Learning Programme; its duration is from the 1st. of March 2011 to the 31st. of August 2013.

This project was the only one selected and approved for funding in Bucharest within the 2010 Jean Monnet Programme call for application.

The module of summer courses for the high-school teachers received accreditation from the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport (Directorate General for Management, Human Resources and Educational Network – Directorate Continuing Training of the Pre-university Education Staff) so that the acquired competences are recognized and confirmed at national level and can be used to allow future integration of EU related topics in the courses taught to high-school pupils.
